‘Apex Index I '

"Apex indexed" refers to the automated process that organises and categorises our physical actions into a digital format, driven by technology. Every tap, swipe, or scroll on a touchscreen generates data—information about our actions, preferences, locations, and even the way we interact with the world. This data contributes to the global map of digital information, and has an energy correlation and carbon footprint implication. Can we reclaim autonomy over technology shaping and tracking our daily lives ? We can lean toward mindfulness, digital disconnection, and intentionality to reconnect with the tactile and sensory world.

Rooted in tactility, my printmaking practice examines how transparent, user-controlled technologies might create a more balanced relationship between digital systems and physical artmaking.
